YOUR PATH TO HEALING
Stephanie Gluch, MFT
Online therapy for CA moms navigating mental health & Christian faith deconstruction.

My name is Stephanie, and I am a California-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am here to support you on your path of emotional and spiritual health.

ABOUT

Emotional and Spiritual Health Therapy is a holistic approach that cares for both your inner world and your deeper sense of meaning. It supports you in understanding and processing your emotions while also exploring the values, beliefs, or spiritual practices that give your life direction and purpose.
The focus is on helping you feel more balanced, connected, and whole—whether that means healing emotional wounds, building healthier relationships, or finding strength in your spiritual journey. This kind of therapy honors your personal path and creates space for both emotional growth and spiritual well-being.
Stephanie provides client-centered therapy, based on the idea that you are the guide of your own life. In therapy, you set the pace, and the therapist offers support, understanding, and encouragement in a safe, non-judgmental space. The goal is to help you tap into your own strengths and find the best path forward for you. Stephanie uses an eclectic approach, utilizing a variety of theoretical orientations as best fits your needs (more details listed below).
While Stephanie's background includes Christian faith and experience, she tailors therapy to align with your beliefs, values, and goals. She has worked with individuals and couples from many different faith traditions and worldviews. If you wish, Stephanie can incorporate spiritual practices or Christian perspectives into your sessions—always by mutual agreement.
Stephanie began her private practice experience in San Francisco in 2012 with Christian Psychotherapy Services and has been based in southern California since 2019.

TESTIMONIALS
Client Experiences
Client T.
"I was actually just telling my husband the other day about how our sessions together are still useful to me today-- knowing how to name some of my actions, like catastrophizing, or how to manage my boundaries with my mom."
Client A.
"Thank you for all the time and emotional energy you've poured into me the past year and a half. You've been such a blessing to me."
Client B.
"Thank you so much for being my counselor this past year. I feel like you've helped me grow in many ways, specifically in learning to take time to care for myself and process my feelings in a healthy way, and to not put off difficult conversations. Thank you for taking the time to help me deal with countless issues."
APPROACHES

Attachment Theory
Attachment theory says our earliest bonds with caregivers shape how we feel about ourselves and connect with others. These patterns, called attachment styles, often carry into our adult relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected. By noticing unhelpful thought patterns and learning new ways of thinking, you can handle stress in healthier, more positive ways.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS), or “parts work,” sees each of us as having different inner parts. These parts might seem to conflict at times, but each part has a reason for being there. With IFS, you can understand and work with your parts to bring more compassion and healing.
